I’ve been talking about relationships recently. Quite a few friends have split up from their long term partners this year and let me tell you: We.did.not.see.it.coming.
You see, the thing is, 2022 was/is meant to be ‘The Year of the Bride’. The prophet Tiphani Montgomery presented a whole video on this and what she felt God was saying for this season and, in a non-Christian space, The New York Times published an article back in February announcing that 2022 would be a boom year for brides (and grooms). For those of us wanting and waiting for a wedding-related change in relationship status, this kind of announcement can put a strain on what is already a pressure cooker of emotions around being single - or in an LTD (long term dating) relationship.
