A whole new year has started and so far, I’ve not become a vegan, joined a gym or changed career. Last year, I realised the negative effect coffee was having on my body, so I decided to stop drinking it. Since I made that decision, I’ve gone from having 3-4 flat whites a week, to one or two. I also made a decision to cut out fried foods, specifically crisps which, may I suggest are even better than sliced bread and should replace that common reference point. As you can imagine, fried potatoes whether in crisp or chip format have found themselves on my groceries list more than a few times in the weeks since. So what are we looking at here, failure? No, it’s something much deeper than that. It’s part of the SOFT LIFE.
